Simple Modern Surprises 400 Bixby West Elementary Parents with Coffee and Tumblers
The Coffee & Go event, held in partnership with Scissortail Coffee Co., was the second Oklahoma school stop in Simple Modern's Coffee & Go campaign.
Simple Modern distributed 400 Voyager 360 tumblers to parents at Bixby West Elementary on Oct. 23 as part of its Coffee & Go initiative, which recognizes parents and caregivers during morning school drop-off.
The Oklahoma-based company partnered with Scissortail Coffee Co. to provide complimentary coffee while a Bixby West parent contributed fresh muffins to everyone. Parents received the coffee, refreshments and Simple Modern tumblers as they dropped off their children, turning a regular school morning into an opportunity to thank families for their involvement in the school community.
Coffee & Go Reaches Two Oklahoma Schools
The Bixby event followed Simple Modern's first Coffee & Go stop Sept. 29 at Dennis Elementary in Oklahoma City, where the company distributed nearly 200 Voyager 360 tumblers and partnered with Giddy Up Coffee to provide complimentary coffee.
Together, the two events reached more than 580 parents at Oklahoma schools, with local coffee businesses helping Simple Modern bring the initiative to both the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metropolitan areas.
Coffee & Go began as part of Simple Modern's National Coffee Day campaign, which also included a nationwide giveaway. The company selected one coffee customer in each of the 50 states to receive a Voyager 360 tumbler and a Starbucks gift card.
The events were designed to recognize parents and caregivers in the middle of their everyday routines, with the Voyager 360 serving as a practical gift for busy mornings, commutes and activities throughout the day.
Simple Modern's Ongoing Commitment to Schools and Families
Coffee & Go is one of several initiatives through which Simple Modern supports schools, educators and families.
Earlier in 2026, the company completed its third-annual Stock Your School program, which drew more than 3,200 educator nominations and 175,000 votes from across all 50 states. Ten educators and their schools received classroom and school resources, including water bottles, bags, classroom wish-list support and school grants.
The company also supports educators through local partnerships and classroom initiatives, building on its commitment to donate at least 10% of annual profits to charitable causes.
